We, the undersigned ratepayers of the Longbeach Hoad District, hereby give notice that we intend to petition the County Council to constitute a new Road District of— All that part of the Longbeach Road District, which is hounded on the south-west by the river Rangitata j on the north-west by the Rangitata Road District and the Upper Ashburton Road District, from the Hinds to the Windermere road ;on the north-east by the said road to the Boundary road ; on the southeast by the Boundary road to the river Hinds ; on the north-east by that river to the Surveyors’ road ; thence to the boundary line be* tween the Longbeach and Lowcliff Estates to the ocean beach, and on the south-east by the Pacific ocean to the mouth of the river Rangitata.
