[PER PKBBB ASSOCIATION.] A Refusal Wellington, To-day. The Wellington Chamber of Commerce have declined to comply with a request of the Auckland Chamber, to join in a valedictory address to Consul Griffin. Incendiarism. An inquest was held to-day on the fire which destroyed the house occupied by Mr Davis, sharebroker, on December 2nd. The evidence showed that wood chopped gp email and straw saturated with kerosene bad been placed in the partition. A yerdiot that the building was wilfully and maliciously set on fire by some person or persons unknown was returned. The lonic. Dunedin, To-day. The lonic sailed from Plymouth on the 9th inst., for Wellington, with 385 passengers.
Otago Gold. The Premier Company, Mace town, has crushed 4910zs retort gold from 517 tons.
