The Magistrate delivered judgment this' morning in the petition of Joseph Kilgcur and others against the election for the Barca riding, and for which Mr A. B. Gninness was returnee. The election was declared nail and void on account of certain irregularities. The case chiefly turned upon the question as to whether the holders of miners’ rights were entitled to vote. The Magistrate held that they were under the section of the Counties Act, 1882. Mr Guinness has given notice to apply for a prohibition of the Supreme Court. Suprme Court. Timaeu, To-day.

The calendar is an ordinary one, and not heavy, there being only one case of an nncommon nature, viz—conterfeiting the coin of the realm, with which two men, father and son, are charged. The civil list is a long one. True bills were returned against James Martin fur burglary and Thomas Park for rape.
