The Sixth Annual Sports Meeting of the Ashburton Caledonian Society will be held on BOXING DAY, DEO. 2C, 1884, on the Society’s new Sports Ground, North-west Belt, when valuable prizes will be given for quoits, hurdle races, flat races, jumping, pipe music, Scotch dancing, Irish jig, tossing the caber, pole vaulting, putting the stone, throwing the hammer, etc, etc, etc. For full particulars see posters.
