Captain Edwin has received the following message from Roxburgh :—Between 4, p.m. and 5 p.m. yesterday a heavy thunderstorm burst over the township and vicinity within a circuit of about 5 miles, causing the creeks to flood to such an extent as to carry away the town waterworks, tearing up the supply pipes and opening culverts of 20 years’ standing.
