THE AUCKLAND CUP. (by telegraph ) Auckland, To-day. Vanguard, Oudeis, Eskatos and Liverpool were scratched for the Auckland Oup at 10 49 this morning. Lady Evelyn is also scratched. WELLINGTON RACES. [by telegraph.] Wellington, To-day. The following amounts were paid over by the Wellington Racing Club:—Mr Pilbrow, L 156 ; Mr Tancred, L 123 ; Mr Hors ford, LBS ; Mr Campion, L 52 ; Mr Alexander, L 47 ; Mr Parkes, L 4 4; Mr Prosser, L3B ; Mr J. Yallauce, L 23 ; Mr F. Hill, L 23. Several amounts under L2O bring the total to L 624. The Wellington Jockey Club paid over the following amounts:— Mr H. Redwood, L 16 6; Mr O’Brien, L 9 9; Mr P. Hill, L 76; Mr Pilbrow, L 57. Other sums under L2O bring the total to L 428.
