Ashburton Guardian Office, Monday af.ernoon. Mr *T. Bullock reports on the horse market for the week ending Saturday, November 15; There was only a moderate attendance of farmers and other settlers. 27 horses were booked for the day’s sale, but no first-class draughts were offered, and the biddings for the ■ light descriptions were not so spir ted as at the previcus Sale, nevertheless half of those yarded ■were sold at full value according to description, viz.:—‘Medium light draughts, L 8 10s to Ll 4 los ; ditto aged, from L 8 ; two-year-olds, L 6 los to LiO ;; hacks, L 6 10s to L 7 ; light harness horses, L 4 5* to 1,7 10s ; inferior, from L2 10s to L 3 15s.
