Dexter is a beautiful brown_ horse rising eight years old, stands sixteen hands one inch high, with black points, has splendid action, good temper, and sure foal-getter. Dexter was got by that noted horse Talisman out of the far famed trotting mare Gentle Annie (well known both in Canterbury and Otago), imported from Australia.
