Consultation. 8 £4,000 320 CASH PRIZES. FIFTH GRAND HAMBURG DRAWING IS NOW OPEN. The four previous drawings were filled, and all applications that came too late for the fourth will be registered in this drawing. The fifth grand drawing for 1.4,000 will close the end of October, and the sixth drawing will open on the Ist November. This fifth grand drawing will consist of 320 money prizes, amounting to L 4,000 subscribed by 8,000 members at 10s each. The various Money Prizes will be distributed as follows : 1 £3OO prize; 1 £2OO prize; 1 £IOO prize; 2 £SO prizes; 10 £3O prizes; 15 £26 prizes; 16 £2O prizes; 16 £l6 prizes ; 160 £ls prizes; ICO £5 prizes. Total amount, £4,000: 320 money prizes. The grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 26 programos is guaranteed a prize, aid the chances are in favor of the investor drawing a large prize, as there are L2O large prizes to 100 small ones. To any investor of £2 the chances are only 6 to 1 against him drawing a prize, and the head prize or any other may be drawn by any investor of 10a. Read this carefully.—ln Boaz’s Grand Hamburg Drawings the greatest odds are only 25 to 1 against an investor of 10s drawing a prize. But carefully note some of the horse consultations on the Melbourne Cup, advertising 20,000 members at 10-', equal to LIO,OOO. The Cup gives 133 nominations, so that the odds are over 150 to 1 against an investor drawing a horse. Now take the cash prizes drawn at the same time, and calculate the odds ; you will find in each of the cash awards that the odds vary from 200 to 6,000 to 1 against an investor drawing a cash prize. The whole 20,000 marbles are advertised to be replaced for each drawing or the cash prizes, which gives the enormous odds against investors. The Company would simply ask investors to calculate the odds before placing their investments in any horse consultation ; and the Company would not presume to tell the public that they hare a number of chances and can win a number of prizes for a single investment of 10s. This fifth grand drawing for £4,000 will i take place under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing. i Notice —Country cheques marked correct by Bank, only payable to a number, and Is added for exchange.
