NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT INSURANCE BILL. This Bill was read a third time. On the motion that the Bill do now pass, a discussion ensued, but the Bill ultimately passed on the voices. BILLS. The Supreme Court Procedure Amendment Bill was read a third time and passed, as also were the Bankruptcy Bill, Police Offences Bill, and the Pu die Works Bill, and the False Notice of Birth, Marriage and Death Bill. . The second reading of the Hokitika Steam Bill was agreed to. The Colonial Secretary moved the second reading of the Land Bill, the debate on which was interrupted by an adjournment at 5 o’clock till 7 30.
