A district horse shall mean any horse whose owner has resided in the South Rakaia Road Board districts, or Alford Forest as tar as - - Bowyer’s Stream, thence along Thompson’s Track to Mitcham for three months immediately preceding the races, and has been their bond fide property during that time-
