Ashburton Cup (handicap), of 200 sovs ; nomination, 2 sovs; acceptance, 5 sovs ; and a evt eep of sovs, to be paid to the Secretary by 9 o’clock the night before the race, to go to the second horse. 1£ miles. 4. Ladies’ Purse, of 40 sovs; welter weights for age ; entrance, 3 sovs. nijjlea. district horses only. 5. Welter Handicap, of 50 sovs ; minimum weight, Bst; nomination, 1 sov ; acceptance. 2 sovs. 1 mile. 6. Racing Club Handicap, of 120 sovs ; nomination, 2 sovs; acceptance, 3 sovs ; second horse to receive 20 sovs from the stake. 1£ miles. 3. County Plate Handicap, of 40 sovs ; nomination, 1 sov; acceptance, 1 sov. miles. District horses only. 4. Flying handicap, of 50 sovs ; nomination, 1 sov : acceptance, 1 sov. \ miles. 5.
