It is announced that the Emperor of China has issued an order that the towns of Langson, Taoki-and Coobang, in Tonquin, now in the occupation of the Chinese; shall be surrendered to the French troops within the month. Parleying between M. Patenotre, French Minister, and the Chinese officials at Shanghai on the subject of France’s claim for an indemnity on account of the Langson outrage is still proceeding. All on board - : were saved, except three seamen, who were below and could not be rescued , by the Vanguard. The vessel was P somewhat damaged but was able tc reach this port in safety.
