Dear Friends —We have some hesitation in addressing you in the manner following, but hope that it will not be looked at in any invidious light, when we state that it is only our regard for your health that causes us to do it. This book has the advantage in that it is written by men eminent in their special departments. The symptoms as set down in each case are clear, concise and logical. The treatment is everything to bo desired and quite up to recant date. A word of praise is due for the manner in which the diseases have been classified, whilst the section on Hygiene, Therapeutical tables and botanical plates found towards the end of the book cannot but prove of the greatest service to anyone perusing the work.
