Ashburton Guardian Office, Monday Afternoon. J Mr T. Bullock reports on the horse market for the week ending Saturday, June 21 26 horses were entered for the day s sale., There was a moderate attendance of farthers and others, but the majority of the horses brought forward were of an inferior description; nevertheless they were nearly all sold, although-at low prices. There is an inquiry for young medium draughts suitable for farm work, but fow of this class are offering just now. Out of the total entry (26) 16 were said at the follow- ' jug prices, viz., light medium draughts, Lio los to Li 3; four-year-olds light, Ll 3 103 to Ll 3 ijs; aged and inferior draughts, Ly 10s to L 8 5s j light harness horses, of a good description, L 4 15s toLi3 10s; hacks from La up to L 9, according t description.
