The cricket match at, Manchester, Australians v Worth of England, was resumed and concluded to-day, resulting in the defeat of the visitors.. The-Home team, with six wickets down for 187 runs, continued their first innings, and put together a total of 220; J. Briggs caught 22, being the principal suofer. The Austra- ; Hans, being 129 behind their opponents in the first innings, then went in for the second time, but their wickets again fell rapidly, and the whole were put out for a total of 107, the Home team thus winning by an innings and 21 runs. The highest scorers were—M'Donnell, b, 23, and Blackhsm, o, 32. n Peate bowled splendidly for the Home team, taking five wickets for 20 runs. -
