NEW ZEALAND v. NEW SOUTH WALLS[REUTEa’s TELEGRAM—COPY RIGHT. ] Sydney, Yesterday. The football match between the New 1 Zealand team and the representatives of tha Western districts, played at Bathurst - yesterday, was considered to have been one of the toughest contests the visitors have yet had. The IS ew Zealanders played a sixth match to-day, and scored another victory against the University and Wallaroo Clubs combined. During the first half of the game the . visitors showed to great advantage and scored rapidly, bat . daring the second-spell the local men showed mnch better form, scoring about ' even, and the play was very fa-t on both aides. At the concluaion of the game the scores stood as follows :—New Zealand, twenty-three points; Combined team, ten. The New Zealanders thus won the match 'by thirteen points. The weather was fine and the gronnd was in good order.
