McKERROW AND CO.’S BANKRUPTCY.

[From ode own Correspondent.]! , [by telegraph.] Bakaia, To-day. A meeting of McKerrow and Co.’a creditors was held here this morning, when it was decided that all the official and clerical work in connection with the bankruptcy should be done at the office of the Official Assignee in Christchurch, tt was also - resolved that the bankrupie should be allowed the sum of L 5 per weetfor maintenance. Daring the progress of the meeting attention was drawn to the length of time that would elapse between the declaration of the bankruptcy and the ajadication. The meeting wae adjourned to June 24.
