Telegrams from Foochow state that the market' opened there on the 6th instant. The settlement of fine to fin est qualities was at the same price as last year. The present crop is better than that of last season. Exchanges are quoted at 45%. [Received June 9,12. 45 p. m. ] The Doric. Hobart, To-day. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s chartered steamship Doric arrived here on Saturday from Plymouth (April 26), en route to Auck.and. There are several cases of measles andchickenppx on board, and one death from smallpox occurred shortly after - leaving Plymouth. The passengers for this port have been landed and placed in quarantine, and the vessel proceeded on her voyage to Auckland.
