WRIGHT, Chairman. 20th May, 1884. 5 985 COUNTY COUNCIL Notice is hereby given that at the nez ordinary meeting of the Ashburton Cotinty Council, which will be held on Friday, the 6th day of June, 1884, at II o’clock in the forenoon, the following resolution will be considered by the Council:— Resolved —“ That inasmuch as it appears to this Council that the river works proposed to be constructed on the banks of and in connection with the river Ashburton are for the special benefit of that portion of the County of Ashburton, which is comprised within the boundaries hereinafter mentioned, this Council do make a Special Order defining sueh portion of the said County, and such Special Order to be as follows, that is to say SPECIAL ORDER.
