fpKR PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Fatal Accident. Auckland, To-day. Richard Fletcher was killed yesterday I by a ballast train on the Hamilton-Mor-rinsvills railway contract. ▲ Vote of Thanks. Christchurch, To-day. Mr McMillan addressed the electors of the Coleridge district at Sheffield last night. A resolution thanking him for his address was moved, fo'lowed by an amendment expressing renewed confidence in him as representative of the district. The resolution was carried by 15 votes to 13. Fre-sessional. Dunedin, To-day. Mr Driver received an unanimous vote of confidence at _ Gore. He gave a flat denial to the statement that he intended to retire from the representation of Hokonni.
