JOHN TOTTY bega to inform the public that having taken the above STABLES, he ia prepared to let out BUGGIES, SADDLE HORSES and LADIES’ HACKS, on the most reason* able terms. Horses broken to saddle and harness. Horses clipped and singed on the premises. Buggies, 10s per day; saddle horses, 7s 6d per day; clipping and singing, 12s 6d. Horses, etc., let out for one hour or more as desired. A trial solicited. 5 934 ANEW DEPARTURE.—! am going to commence this advertisement by proposing a conundrum, composed expressly for the occasion, and warranted bran new : Why is my new fruit and Italian warehouse like a river? I can’t wait until all find out, but, taking for granted that all have got the correct answer, I proceed to state that I have just shifted into Orr and Co’s late grocery shop, where I first made the acquaintance of my friends of Ashburton and surrounnding districts. The “ whirligig of time ” has just put me into the old place, and I trust I shall have the pleasure of doing much business with all my old friends, and with many new ones as well. The enquiry is still made—Where can we procure good tea ? I answer again Use Nelson Moate and Co.’s pure blended teas, and you will derive much pleasure and satisfaction. Why ?
