London, May 7- ■ The Oriental Bank Corporation has despatched a special steamer to Mauritius to close the agencies in that island. The British shareholders in the Oriental Bank have determined to form themselves into a Defence Committee to protect their interests. London, May 11. Earl Rosabery will preside at the banquet to be given on 22nd to Sir H. Loch, the Governor of Victoria, prior to hie leaving England. The steamer Bulli, belonging to the Belli Coal Company, N.S. W., whilst on her first voyage, bound from Glasgow to Sydney, went ashore at Capetown, and has since become a total wreck..
