Bullock reports on the horse market ' for the week ending Saturday, May loth : There, was again a large entry of horses, 55 being 1 , ehliitd ;for the. day’s ; sale, amongst sjT .which were a number of useful farm horses, |s?- tSe biddings for which v/ere not so spirited as at the previous sale. ‘Nevertheless a number changed J “ given below. Biddings' for light horses were a ';e>lticmely languid, and vety few of this class i Were Sold. Thesame remark applies to hacks, ■ but I might mention that a large portion of .this class offering are very inferior. Out of >'J the total entry of 55, 18 were disposed of at fc <the following prices, viz—Medium draughts, ;-<•' good,uLlß to ll 25; aged ditto, in luding inferph ;jpr, L 7 los to Ll 7 10s; three-year-old light p! I ],ldfaughts, Ll2 to Ll 6 ; light harness horses, |£‘ inferior, JLS 10s to L 6, with very little demand; crffi very inferior' description, • L 3 to L 4 ?f|'.-ffiick reapers and binders (wire) at from Lio ploughs, second ."hand, L 7 15s to L 9; drays and, sundries at prices.
