PORTING NEWS. THIRD GRAND DR A. WING IS NOW OPEN. Unparallelled success of these grand drawings, as they are carried out on the same principle in Hamburg and other Continental Cities. The first drawing for £2,000 and the second drawing for L 3,000 filled before the advertised time for drawing. The Company were induced to make this third grand drawing for L 3,000 in consequence of the great success, and also the confidence gained from the public since opening these Hamburg drawings. This third grand drawing will take place not later than the end of June, and the fourth drawing will open on the Ist July. Late applications are registered for the third drawing. Over 550 applications for programmes are now registered for the third drawing. This third grand drawing will consist of 240 money prizes, amounting to L 3,000 subscribed by 6,000 members at 10s each. The various Money Prizes will be distributed as follows ; 1 £3OO prize; 1 £l5O prize; 1 £IOO prize; 2 £SO prizes; 5 £3O prizes; 10 £25 prizes; 10 £2O prizes; 10 £ls prizes ; 120 £lO prizes; 80 £5 prizes. Total amount, £3,000; 240 money prizes. The grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 programes is guaranteed a prize, as it is so drawn that a prize must come out to every 25 numbers, and the chances are in favor of the investor drawing a largo prize, as there are 160 large prizes against 80 small ones. To any investor of £2 the chances are only 6 to 1 against him drawing a prize, and the head* prize or any other may be drawn by any investor of 10s. The Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and can win a number of prizes for a single investment of 10s. The large bulk of the money in this Grand Drawing is not given away in one big prize, as it is in the horse consultations, but you will observe in this Hamburg Drawing that the £3,000 is fairly proportioned into 240 prizes, giving every shareholder an equal chance of getting a good prize. Ttyis Hamburg Drawing is one of the moat novel, and will be conducted on the fairest principle possible, s > as to give entire public satisfaction. This third grand drawing for £3,000 will take place under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
