London, April 24 ” The Lord Mayor of London yesterday opened in the Crystal Palace the London International an i Universal Exhibition, of which Mr Collins Levey is the Executive Commissioner. The- statement is current in diplomat!} circles that Mr Service, Premier of Victoria, and Mr Bray, Premier of South Australia, will probably receive the honor of knighthood. Mr John Mclntyre, member for Maiden (Victoria) in the Legislative Assembly, has increased the capital of the Maldon Mining Comp my, which bo is floating in London, from L70,0#0 to L 120.000. Sir Henry Parkes, formerly Premier of New South Wales, has succeeded in floating the Australian Freehold and Investment Company, with a cap’tal of L 1,000,009 sterling.
