Light harness hones were very dull of sale, and only one or f- - tvc£Tof an inferior, description changed hands. * r- ' colts (light), 3 brought L 29 ; hacks, LS iSs lo 1 s 1 L 7 Cs. ■ Landed properties and leasing land for cropping. —Previous to the horse sale, I * offered a numbeLof town, suburban, and other : - prApertid, ats6 letting of land for cropping. There was a very large attendance, the pnn- , cipai attraction being the leasing of 1,200 seres, part of Lagmhor Estate for s' one crop of wheat, offered in blocks of IS® acres each. There was a very spirited k " bidding, and considering-the low prices ruling f;v',- fortninn, if realised high’rentals, viz; - Lot I, r "" ico acres, 30s per acre ; lot 2, 150 acres, 30s K per acre; lot 3 150 acres,. 32s 6d per acre ; lot 4, 150 acres, 32s 6d per acre ; lot 5, 150 Acres,- 273 6d -per acre; lot 8 r 150 a^ es * *5 S £3p‘-' - per Acre; lott 6 and 7 were not sold.
