Notice is hereby given that this Council haying applied fop AID for Protective Works under the Roads and Bridges Construction Aot, 1882, now demand a POLL of RATEPAYERS as follows 1. The works proposed to be undertaken consist of the Erection of Bulwark, Embankment, Excavations and Willow Planting, the estimated cost of which works is £940. 2. The amount of the yearly payments required to be made by the said Council is £B4 12s, and the amount of Special Rate i o meet them is five sixteenths of a penny on the value of the rateable district (plan of which is on view at this office). 3. The plans, specifications and detailed estimates of the cost of proposed works may be seen at the office of the County Council, during ordinary business hours, on treek days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and'on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 4.
