Adverting to our former advertisement re skipping of grain to the English Markets, we havo now much pleasure in informing farmers and others in this district that we have chartered several first-class iron vessels, which we hope to despatch during the next and following months of the present grain season. The first of these vessels, the SsiKIRKSBIRE, 1,200 tOUB, is MW in Port ready to receive cargo, and will be among the earliest leaving Port Lyttelton. The arrangements we have made for the shipping of grain are most favorable, and such which will place farmers and others shipping through ns on such footing as no other firm can offer. Early application for space is necessary. Full particulars as to cost of shipping, etc., given on application.
