Five packages containing dynamite have been discovered in the tunnel of New Euston Square railway station; His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales was about to travel northwards by the London and Northwestern line. The discovery was made prior to his departure. It is believld that it was intended to wreck the train by which the Prince proposed to travel, and it is thought that the projected outrage is the work of Fenian emissaries, but up to the present time no arrests have been made by the police. The discovery caused much excitement and indignation.

The New South Wales Estimates *of expenditure were tabled in Parliament last evening. They show a total estimated expenditure of L 7, 710,000, against L 6,810,000 last year] an Increase of L 899,000.
