THE NEW ZEALAND LOAN.

Tenders for the New Zealand loan of one million sterling, bearing interest at the rate of four per cent, were opened to day. The total amount offered was found to be L 5,000,000. Tenders at Lioo 5s will receive 54 per cent, of the allotment, and those above that price will receive in full. The minimum fixed was L9B 10s.

The New Zealand loan of L 1,000,000, being the second million under the Thr -e Million Loan Act, has been covered. The Agent-General telegraphs that the whole loin has been placed above : par. There were GOO tenders, the total amount of tenders being for L 5,070,000. Tenders at LIOO 5* 6d will receive 54‘ per cent, the remainder being placed above that price. ;■ . .
