[by telegraph.] Dunedin, To-day. William Yielding was sentenced to four years’ for burglary at Clyde. Newton, convicted of abusing a child aged twelve, was sentenced to seven yean and twenty-five lashes. He gave hia age as forty-five. Ah Chew, who pleaded guilty to burglarj, was sentenced to four yean’ penal servitude.
