I. McLennan’s Road Drains :—We have inspected these drains, being the subject of a petition,, to have a portion of the water that comes down the upper drain conveyed to the drain on the lower side of the road by means of a dam and bridge across the drain. Great South Road, Hinds ; The formation and metdlingjof a portion of this road is being satisfactorily carried out.—s. Poplar Road : The contractor] is ; at work forming, etc., this road. — 6. WinslpW Road : Thefmetalling of this road has been duly completed.—7. Shepherd’s Road : The formation of this road has been completed. It is njot such a good job as we could wish, owing to the nature of the ground. The contractor has eyi u dently done the best he could.
