A SERVICE will be held in the Masonic Hall, Tancred street, on Sunday, 13th January, at 2.30 p.m. when an ADDRESS will be delivered by Bro. the Rev J. Hilo, D.G.M. The musical portion of ■ the service will be rendered by a choir of Masons, assisted by several ladies. The collection will be devoted to the “Ashburton Masonic Benevolent Fund.” All friends of Masons are invited to attend. 1 27 Picnic Notice. THE PICNIC of the BOROUGH SCHOOL will take place next WEDNESDAY, the 9th inst , on the grounds of n.. G. Wright, Esq., Windermere. Children will muster at the Borough School at 10 o’clock, and bring their mugs or pannikins with them. The Train will leave the Ashburton Station at 11, calling at Winslow.
