LONG BEACH SPORTS.
These annual sports took place on New Year’s Day in a paddock on Mr Grigg’s estate, and were carried out successfully, mainly through the energy of the Committee. Messrs McLean and Hill acted as judges, Mr Prendergast, starter, and the Committee were Messrs Mason, Bowers, Pritchard and Banks, Mr W. Kirby being the secretary and treasurer.
