The police to day made a raid upon magsmen and others suspected of belonging to the, criminal class of this city, and arrested thirteen persons. Revenue Return?. Melbourne, Yesterday. The Victorian revenue for the quarter ended December 31st amounted to Li,470,000, being an increase of L 23,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. During the same period the revenue from the Customs decreased L74°°> that from land increased L 3500 and that from railways increased L 64,000. The receipts from Excise decreased 1 9000, and territorial revenue LSBOO. Agricultural Estimates. The “ Australasian ” agricultural reporter estimates the yield of wheat for the present season in Victoiia at 15,000,000 bushels.
