(Boxing Day), goods traffic will also be suspended, and the following alterations in the time table will be made ; • The evening trains from Christchurch to Ashburton, and Kakaia to Methvcn wi 1 run 35 and 20 minutes respectively, later than usual. ASHBURTON RACES, 27th INST. Trains for and from Christchurch will stop to allow passengers to alight at the Saleyards Siding (opposite the Racecourse). Passengeis from South can rebook at Ashburton to the Saleyards Siding, those from North must book to Ashburton. A Special Train will leave Ashburton for the Saleyards Siding at 1.45 a. in., returning 15 minntes after the last race. Return Fares —First class, 6d; second class, 4d.
