All-horses entered for races Nos. 1 and 5 to have been owned in the County, three-months prior to races, 2. Three horses the bona fide property of different owners to start or no race. 3. No protest will be entertained unless madethirity minutes after the race has been run, and a deposit of 20s be lodged at the same time, which shall be forfeited should the protest prove frivolous. 4. Entrance for races Nos. 1, 3 and 5 to be lodged in the hands of the Secretary not later than 9 p.m on Monday, December 24th. 5. Qualification fee in races shall be 10s. 6. District horses to be owned by persons residing in the old Mount Somers, Road Board district, three months prior to races. 7- First race to start at 10.30 a.m. The usual Athletic Sports will follow, for which liberal prizes will be given. No one will be allowed to enter a horse unless a subscriber of half a guinea to the fund, or when the prize is L2O or over, one guinea. All horses to have been owned in the County three months prior to the races. Three horses to start or no race. No protest will be entertained unless LI be deposited with the Secretary within 30 minutes after the race is run, which will be forfeited should the same, in the opinion of the Committee, prove friviloua. No one allowed to train a horse on the course one week before the races, under penalty of being disqualified. In event of a walk-over only half of the stakes will be awarded.
