At their wool sales this week the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, submitted a fairly representative catalogue, comprising 4,000 bales. Much dissatisfaction was expressed at the awards of the International Juries, and it was resolved that a deputation should wait on the Government to protest against the same. The Debate on the Land Bill continued in the Legislative Assembly until an early hour this morning, when the motion for the second reading of the Bill was carried on a division by 76 votes to 16.
