1883, the celebrated Stallion KING O’ THE VANQUISHERS, KING O’ THE VANQUISHERS, rising 4 years, is a beautiful bay with splendid action and line temper, and has got more bone and hair of the right sort than any pother colt of his age in New Zealand. Pedigree: The King was bred by Messrs Fleming and Hedley, out of their famous brood mare Miss M'Cormiok, imported from Melbourne. Miss M'Cormiok; was purchased by the late David Nesbitt from M'Cormiok Bros., Tasmania, and was specially selected for her breeding qualities —the cor.ectness of that judgment has now been fully verified.
