[PKR PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Appeal Cases. Wellington, To-day. At the Appeal Court to-day judgment was given in the following cases:—Wellington Corporation v. Roberts.—Judgment f>r defendant. Annie Waits v. • rice (Auckland). - Appeal dismissed, with costs on the highest scale. Mr Bell applied for, and obtained leave to appeal to the Privy Council. Russell v. Sheehan (Napier). Three separate judgments were read in this case. Mr Juatice Johnston was of opinion that the appeal should be dismissed with costs. Justices Gillies and Williams thought the decree of the Court below rhould be affirmed. —Judg-.. ment accordingly and it was affirmed.. l?tone v Atkinson (Auckland). —The ap-. peal in this case was dismissed, with to be awarded on the highest scale. Leave was given to appeal to the Privy Council. Immigration. The Agent-General cables trader date London, December 3rd, the departure of ■ the steamer Bombay, for Port Chalmers; with 300 immigrants for Otago. The British King, which sailed on November sth, for Wellington, has 328 immigrants.
