The market continues firm. A Magistrate Dismissed. London, Nov. 28. An inquiry has been held in Dublin into the allegations which were made against Hossatnore, a Magistrate, who is stated to have organised an Orange meeting at Noslea in October last, and the charges having been sustained, the Executive removed Hossamore from the Magistracy. The War in Madagascar.
Despatches to hand from Madagascar state that the parleying which has been proceeding at Tamatave between the Hova chiefs and Admiral Gallaber proved abortive. The French adhered to their original demands, and these the Hovas have declared themselves unable to allow.
