In fact very little brthe stock yarded was disposed of under the hammer. The following prices were obtained: —Shorn crossbreds, mixed sexes, 12s ; merino wethers, shorn, 7s 2d ; crossbred hoggets, m the wool, ns iod.—Cattle; Again scarcely any business was effected, and although very few cattle were penned a large f portion of them was returned unsold. Fat cows and heifers brought L 5 and L 6; bullocks, L 7 5 dry heifers made L 3 19s and L 4 2s ; springing heifers, I 4 17s 6d; yearlings, 31s.
