Strong, late of Scots’ Church, who leaves for England to-day. The -Presbyterian Assembly has for the past two days'-discussed Mr Macrachan’s charges against Mr Strong. The latter was invited to attend the Assembly last night but declined, declaring that the "charges against him imputed dishonesty and were dishonorable. Unable to Agree: London, Nov. 14 The trial of the Fenian Poole, for the ■ murder of Mr Renny has been proceeding'in Dublin for some days past. The case was concluded yesterday, but the jury were unable to agree upon a verdict arid'were discharged.

Supply having been voted in the Legislative Assembly, both Houses ot the Queensland Parliament adjourned to-day until the 10th January.
