Betting—4 to 1 Clarence; 3to 1 Wild Boy; 2 to 1 Bateman and Hercules. Bar*, bary and Ravenawood were scratched. This was a capital race, undoubtedly the best of the meeting. Clarence led off with Bateman second, and Wild Boy third. The first time round the hones kept well together, taking all the hurdles splendidly.
