No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they may appoint; their decision on all points connected with carrying ,out this programme to be final. . 2. Canterbury Jockey Club Racing Rules strictly adhered to. 3. A district horse shall mean any horse that-has been commonly 'resident in the Ashburtou County from July 31,1883, and up to the date of the forthcoming meeting, and owned by a person who has resided in the said county during the same period. 4. A gentleman rider shall be deemed to be one who has not ridden for hire during the past five years. - ; '5.
