Medical DEAFNESS. —Quacks calling themselves “Doctors,” are utterly ruining the organs, of hundreds suffering from deafness, charging from L 5 to 120 for so doing. I have two infallible remedies (No. J, deafness arising from colds ; No. 2, the thickening of the parts of the Tympanum) from recipes sent me by those world-known Aurists. the late and present Senior Surgeons of the Royal Dis- [ pensary for Diseases of the Ear.—Send stamps for particulars to T. B. Hahsaford, Auckland, N.Z. 1270 JQR HEILBRON’S WORM CAKES These Cakes are principally prepared from Herbs, and do not contain any dan-’ gerously active ingredients. They have a wonderful effect in curing children, as well as grown persons, by removing the worms. They have been with grea success introduey into the principal families * ’■a Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. They are guaranteed to do away, in a very short time, with many serious complaints* like Bronchitis, PiK-s, Ulcers, Ulcerated Throats, etc.,, if taken in time, as these sicknesses are often caused by worms of all kinds, especiolly by the Tape Worm, and by the most dangerous Thread Worm;' which, if not destroyed in time, will soon ‘ create the hardly-curafcle Worm Fever. The smallest, the Thread Worm, will more than any other worm penetrate throughall the crevices of the body, up to the brain. An example was recently witnessed, where a child falling continually into fits (the parents not knowing wfrcause) at last died' with the brain affected t by the too fatal Thread Worm. Still morerecently there was a case, a grown .map, .., whose seat was affected, by the Thread Worm, and who, after trying many sorts of remedies, without effect was directly relieved by a dose of DR HEILBRON’S “
Worm Cakes. . There are cases where the worms come away that they almost cait be counted then often they come away in whole clots and sometimes in a thick and slimy staff, - and although not so perceptible, still they tore caused to leave by Dr Heilbron a iWorm Cakes. And there have been other cases where children affected with Worms, 1 - when coughing or sneezing, do discharge : them through the mouth and nose. The symptoms of Worms are generally as follows :—Lassitude, Giddiness, Depression of Spirits, Impaired Appetite (which if not acted against, will engender diseases of the . bile), Disorder pf the Stomach and Digestive Orgaps, Sick (Headaches, Vomiting, Disturbed- Sleep; and many more serious complaints, in- ■ eluding Fits, of which last many perppps have been cured by these Worm Galops. b No time should be lost in removing .these Worms, else the consequence will ba seri onto, ab they ; will increase inrize-and,-, quantity, and ultimately spread through-, out the intestines. If Worms ate np». glected for a time they will do so much I damage as to,make it boyond humanskill to restore and reorganise the system of digestive organs.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE. The quantity of these Worm Cakes to - be taken at a dose depends mostly on the. age and constitution of the patient. In', most cases a couple of doses will drive the worms away for many years, if not entirely. As a standard : A. dose for a child up to 2 years will be half a Cake ; from 2. to 4 years old, one whole Cake; from 4 to 8 years, one Cake and a half; from Bto 14, two Oakes; and so to increase with the age, but never more than four Cakes , at one dose. Grown females may geqe- r rally take three Cakes at a dose, and grown men four Cakes, according to constitution, The most effective way of using , these Worm Cakes is by taking the dose before going to bed, and on the following • morning to take a cup of hot tea before., breakfast. ' • ' . I am not certain how long I may stay in this town, and as these Worm Cakes can be obtained at a very small, expense families will do well to have always a small supply of them at their houses. .. j Orders for the Country promptly < executed.
