THE RACECOURSE.
To the Editor.
Sir, —I have read “An Owner’** ” letter in your issue of 11th instant, and although lam not authorised by ray Committee to discuss the matter in the public press, I may assure your correspondent that I am directed to provide all the training accommodation circumstance will permit, and I shall be very grateful if he will assist me with any practical suggestions in that direction. In the meantime it is absolutely necessary to preserve the running track from damage which would ensue and csuld not be repaired if horses were allowed to gallop upon it just now, but I trust that in the course of a few days “An Owner ” will find the training course in sufficiently good condition for his purpose. —lam, etc.,
S. Saunders, Secretary A.R.C.
