Disloyalty to the Government is openly .expressed; and rioting occurred at several places in Croatia. At Agrara, the capital of the province, encounters have taken place between the military and bands of peasants, who fought with determination, several lives ieing lost J ahd large numbers of persons severely Injured.

The Fraaco-Ohinese Difficulty. The Marquis Tseng, Chinese Envoy, returned to London to-day from Paris, where-he has been negotiating with M. CHallemel Lacour for an amicable settlement of the Franco-Chinese difficulty.
A New Minister. Paris, Sept. 10. It is announced that M. Patenotre has been appointed to succed M. Tricon as French Minister in China.
An Arrested Zulu.
Capetown, Sept 10.
Intelligence has been received from Natal that Dabulnasli, a prominent Zulu chief and one of the leaders in the recent hostilities, has been arrested at Greytown, in Natal.
