WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB.
The Committee of the Wanganui Jeokey Club met yesterday and agreed to join the Racing Association proposed by the . Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club. They also re- $ moved the disqualification from Mata and' Ray. The programme for ths coming year was framed, the following being the principal alterations from last Spring meeting—Ladies’ bracelet, value L2O, first horse; L 5 second, substituted for Railway Plate. Autumn meeting—;;; <• First day, Maiden Hurdles substituted for the Hack Hurdles; Sapling .reduced from 60 to 50 sovs, and the Flying Handicap from 125 to 114 sovs. Second day—
